Editor Sebastian Beckett Writes That The Heavily Progressive Push To Allow Euthanasia in The Northern and Australian Capital Territories Will Cost Lives and Souls.
Laudetur Iesus Christus.
The current push for 'Territory Rights' is nothing more than a farce for allowing Euthanasia in Australia's Capital and in its most vulnerable Northern region.
Australian Federal politicians have been warned that if they repeal 'Andrews Law', which prevents euthanasia legislation from being passed by territories, the numbers easily lie in favour of progressive governments that will inevitably pass legislation that allows assisted dying.

Any politician or advocate who says they support 'Territory Rights' but not euthanasia is a hypocrite; both the Northern Territory and ACT Government's have made it clear that if allowed to do so, they will pass assisted dying legislation as a matter of priority.
So is the matter truly about 'Territory Rights'? No.
In the frankest of terms, 'assisted dying' is the taking of life, with huge implications on broader society. In its cruellest form, it is suicide, generally assisted by someone else. In times past, this was called manslaughter, because, of course, our society teaches that one can not consent to murder.
What is the damage that legalising such matters can cause, dear brothers and sisters? The ruin of our souls, taking matters out of the hands of God and into the hands of Man. Who are we to decide when we should live or die? Who are we to decide when another should live or die?
Suppose the numbers in the Northern Territory Assembly or the ACT Legislative Assembly were even close to 50/50. In that case, one may be able to justify the 'Territory Rights' push; however, in its current form, it is unconscionable for one who is a Catholic to support any move closer to euthanasia, including 'Territory Rights'. Vox Fidei's sources suggest numbers in the ACT would be 18 for, 7 against.
Why is Vox Fidei encouraging people to write to Our Voices of Faith in Parliament? Why are we encouraging our elected members to reflect on the 'Territory Rights' push? Because it is crucial that politicians and commentators reflect that their decisions ultimately have grave flow-on effects; for society, for the souls of others, and for their own souls.
