It Goes From Bad To Worse For 'Catholic' Premier Dominic Perrottet With Predatory Murals Being Erected In The Heart Of The Sydney CBD For 'World Pride'...
Laudetur Iesus Christus.
SYDNEY - The New South Wales capital of Sydney has for 44 years held a Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. This year the city is also hosting the global LGBTIQ+ event 'World Pride', an event that was first held in Rome in 2000 and was followed by World Pride 2006 in Jerusalem. However, a number of people in the community have raised serious concerns about several murals painted in the CBD ahead of the events.

Sydney would typically transform for these events, with murals, lighting, and other decorations being commissioned. The event causes a considerable economic boost to the Sydney and New South Wales economy.

This year events have taken a sad turn with controversial artist Scott Marsh painting two obscene murals in full public view. The artist is known for previously painting obscene works of the late Cardinal George Pell shirtless with a shirtless former Prime Minister Tony Abbott. He is also known for painting a mural of singer George Micheal in the style of a saintly icon.
The first mural in question, located in the Sydney CBD, close to the busy Wynyard Station, was a mostly naked, obese man wearing BDSM sex accessories and a bear mask, with many likening the work to the recent allegations against clothing label Balenciaga.

Many commenting on the mural suggested that it was far too lewd and obscene to be displayed in public. Locals commented on articles and videos of the mural that it was "disgusting", "sick", "inappropriate", and "shameful", with one woman commenting, "I do not see pride and acceptance here; it's grooming.", another woman commented, "CALLOUT TO ALL THE MEN! Go to Wynyard and paint over this filth!".
Amongst others, two members of the LGBTIQ community commented against the obscene mural, with the first saying, "As a gay guy, I am disappointed in this advertisement. There are kids everywhere, that would definitely traumatise me as a child." another said, "This guy is literally wearing BDSM leather, as another gay guy, this ad is f***ed and needs to be removed.".
It seems that prayers of concerned citizens were answered with two separate instances of censoring, where the mural was painted over, and a message left in spray paint "Leave the kids alone." The police are now investigating the matter.

Board member of Worldpride Sydney Jesse Matheson slammed the covering of the murals in a statement calling it a "disappointing response to a lovely mural", he continued, "the world is subjected to hetero[sexual] nudity every time we walk outside or look at the media", "Bears are people too! and I will literally be wearing this outfit all weekend.".
Mr Marsh has also painted several murals of angel wings comprised of penises across Sydney; Marsh has called it "Dick Wings". This artwork, like the other, is an obscene mural of sexualised angel wings with penises for feathers. At least one of these works was also painted over.

Sydney is a city known for having several groups of fortified, girded, and faithful men, both Catholic and Muslim, who will do anything to defend society from obscenities and crimes against morals and their faith. However, we would like to clarify that these are men who have no concerns with the private actions of those who identify as LGBTIQ, but have a concern with the growing public sexuality highlighted during events like the mardi gras, and have strong concerns about the growing trend to introduce young children to highly sexualised situations.
So we ask, where is the Church to call out these moral obscenities? Moreso, we ask, is this what our 'Catholic' Premier allows in his Capital? Where is Dominic Perrottet?
